The NSF-supported º£½ÇÉçÇø-FOREST (Forest-based Opportunities for Resilient Economy, Sustainability, and Technology) research project was awarded in 2024 as part of NSF’s EPSCoR Research Incubators for STEM Excellence program.
º£½ÇÉçÇø-FOREST leadership envision a resilient and thriving º£½ÇÉçÇø where cutting-edge research, technological innovation, and inclusive collaboration drive the sustainable growth of the forest sector. We aim to be a national leader in environmental AI, sustainable bioproducts, and smart rural development, transforming º£½ÇÉçÇø’s natural resources into engines of economic prosperity, environmental stewardship, and social equity for all communities.
