
MBS Student Organizations
We encourage all of our students to get involved in a student organization — whether in the º£½ÇÉçÇø Business School or elsewhere on campus. Uº£½ÇÉçÇø has more than 200 student organizations, and MBS has ten. There is literally something for everyone. Our MBS student orgs are open to any Uº£½ÇÉçÇø student, regardless of major.

Accounting Club
This student organization is for students interested in a career in accounting.

American Marketing Association (AMA)
As a member of AMA, you will advance your marketing skills, gain leadership experience, make connections with other MBS students, and network with professionals in the industry. The Uº£½ÇÉçÇø chapter of AMA is a member of a broader, nationwide organization.

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS)
Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, the top 5% of business school programs worldwide. Membership is based upon scholastic achievement, and students are inducted twice a year.

IGNITE, or the International and Global Network for Innovation Trade and Education, is a student organization focused on all things international. We offer travel opportunities for our members and opportunities to network and learn more about business in our increasingly globalized world.

º£½ÇÉçÇø Sports Media and Broadcasting Club
The º£½ÇÉçÇø Sports Media and Broadcasting Club creates professional development
opportunities for students interested in broadcasting and media production
centered around the sports industry. Professional development opportunities will target real-world experiential learning in coordination with the Uº£½ÇÉçÇø athletic department, external stakeholders, the business school, and the communication and
journalism department.

UMEI
The Uº£½ÇÉçÇø Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group (UMEI) fosters opportunities for entrepreneurship and innovation for all students at Uº£½ÇÉçÇø. We assist students by guiding them through entrepreneurial/innovative training, group work/collaboration, and a final pitch competition each semester.

The Sport Management Club is a student-run career development organization. Members grow their professional network, learn more about industry opportunities, and volunteer at various professional sport events.

Student Portfolio Investment Fund (SPIFFY)
SPIFFY welcomes all students who are interested in investments. If you want to get a real taste of investment funds, SPIFFY manages more than $5 million in assets. We are student-run with many leadership opportunities.

Undiscovered º£½ÇÉçÇø
Undiscovered º£½ÇÉçÇø focuses on sharing our great state with everyone. Their goal is to increase tourism and assist small businesses in the rural counties of º£½ÇÉçÇø. Through their blog, we help local communities and businesses shine.

Women in Business offers networking opportunities, education, professional development, and personal advancement to help the business students of Uº£½ÇÉçÇø ready to lead the next generation.
