The work uses data acquired by the USGS during previous river measurement expeditions and expands on techniques described by <a href=\"https:\/\/ascelibrary.org\/doi\/full\/10.1061\/%28ASCE%29HY.1943-7900.0001079\">Buscombe, Grams, and Smith (2015)<\/a>.
