With its beautiful wilderness and proximity to Sugarloaf and Saddleback ski areas, Rangeley and Flagstaff Lakes, and many other nearby outdoor destinations, Wyman is a real nature lover&#8217;s paradise.<\/p>\n<h4>Activities<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/appalachiantrail.org\/explore\/explore-by-state\/maine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Appalachian Trail<\/strong><\/a> <em>Carrabassett Dr, Kingfield, ME 04947<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>There is a dedicated parking lot for the Appalachian Trail on Route 27, about 5 miles south of Stratton. You can cross the road from this parking lot and hike the AT across the Bigelow Preserve ridge or head towards Sugarloaf and Rangeley.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maine.gov\/dacf\/mnap\/reservesys\/bigelow.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bigelow Preserve<\/strong><\/a> <em>W Flagstaff Rd, Stratton, ME 04982 | (207) 287-3200<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Swimming, fishing, camping, and of course, hiking! These are all things you can do at Bigelow Preserve! The preserve encompasses the entire Bigelow Range, which includes seven summits and Flagstaff Lake.
