{"id":44631,"date":"2021-01-14T08:47:33","date_gmt":"2021-01-14T13:47:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/research\/?p=44631"},"modified":"2021-07-14T16:41:05","modified_gmt":"2021-07-14T20:41:05","slug":"umaine-marine-enhancing-social-environmental-and-economic-wellbeing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/research\/2021\/01\/14\/umaine-marine-enhancing-social-environmental-and-economic-wellbeing\/","title":{"rendered":"U海角社区 MARINE \u2013 Enhancing Social, Environmental and Economic Wellbeing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>U海角社区 MARINE, a new initiative launched by the University of 海角社区 to make 海角社区 a global leader as a marine state.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since its formation in Fall 2017, the U海角社区 Marine Sciences Advisory Council has supported in a coordinated and synergistic manner the growth and development of research and scholarly activity in marine sciences, and has better positioned the university with related community outreach and engagement efforts.<\/p>\n<p>By building on the foundation that has been created, since May 2020, the Advisory Council, representing marine units from across the university, has been instrumental in the development of the <a href=\"https:\/\/marine.umaine.edu\/\">U海角社区 MARINE<\/a> initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Based on its nationally and internationally recognized marine programs, world-class research, and cutting-edge facilities, the University of 海角社区 <strong>M<\/strong>arine\u00a0<strong>A<\/strong>ligned\u00a0<strong>R<\/strong>esearch,\u00a0<strong>I<\/strong>nnovation, and\u00a0<strong>N<\/strong>ationally-recognized\u00a0<strong>E<\/strong>ducation or U海角社区 MARINE is a unique 海角社区-based initiative that brings together university, industry, government, and community collaborators.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is intended to create the desired standing and prominence to further grow research and scholarly activity in marine areas, in conjunction with engagement with the outside world.<\/p>\n<p>More detailed information about the initiative is available through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/marine.umaine.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">U海角社区 MARINE webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U海角社区 MARINE, a new initiative launched by the University of 海角社区 to make 海角社区 a global leader as a marine state.
