Requirements of individuals who charge:
- Overnight charging is not permitted.
- Users are allowed 30 minutes to move their vehicle once charging has ended (as indicated by LED lights on the charger)
- Users will be issued a citation if these requirements are not met

The Uº£½ÇÉçÇø EV parking permit is currently only available to Uº£½ÇÉçÇø staff or faculty who already qualify for a blue Staff/Faculty permit and as space allows.
- The parking permit for this type of parking costs $200 per calendar year after approval. You will be assigned a designated charging space.
- Your vehicle must qualify for this program: A Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) or a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). Both can be charged from an electrical outlet.
- Current qualified EV spaces for faculty and staff are located in:
- : 2 spaces
- : 3 spaces
- : 6 spaces
- : 4 spaces
- : 7 spaces
- 4 spaces
- : 2 spaces
- Always display your Uº£½ÇÉçÇø EV parking permit.
- Non-electric vehicles are not allowed to park in an EV designated space. A Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) or a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). Both can be charged from an electrical outlet. This will result in a ticket and towing at the owner’s expense.Â
- The EV permit may be used in any vehicle registered to that particular permit holder and must be displayed in the vehicle while parked on campus.
- Only full electric (BEV) or Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) vehicles with a valid Uº£½ÇÉçÇø EV parking permit are permitted to use the electrical outlets associated with Uº£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s Level-1 EV parking spaces.
- Only park in your reserved space in an Electric Vehicle Designated Area. Parking in another EV permit holder’s reserved space will result in a ticket and towing of the offending vehicle.
- An EV permit-holder’s reserved space will remain until the next annual registration period.
- Uº£½ÇÉçÇø EV parking permits also allow the holder to park in their designated EV parking space or any blue/black lot.
- During the Overnight Parking Ban (Nov. 1–May 1), all EV parking spaces are closed to parking between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m. The Bridge Tennis Court lot (commuter section only) and College Ave South lots are available for temporary parking during these hours.

- A resident permit holder should contact Auxiliary Enterprises (Sally Clark) for access to a charger and rules.Â
- An approved user’s º£½ÇÉçÇøCard will be tied to the residential chargers.
- A resident with an EV permit may only park in red lots when not charging, unless otherwise instructed by Parking Services signage.
- Current qualified EV spaces for residents are located in:
- Estabrooke Hall parking lot: 1 space
- Somerset Hall parking lot: 1 space
- Requirements of residents who charge:
- Users are allowed a maximum charge time of 3 or 4 hours; Overnight charging is not permitted.
- Users are allowed 30 minutes to move their vehicle once charging has ended (as indicated by LED lights on the charger)
- Users must replace the charging cables and close the charging enclosure at the end of the charging period.
- Users will be issued a citation if these requirements are not met
