Sean Sibley, PhD, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, NP-BC, CNE

Sean (he/him) is a first-generation college graduate from Lincoln, º£½ÇÉçÇø. His passions are facilitating learning and partnering with patients in their health and wellness journeys as a primary care provider. He is a proud Uº£½ÇÉçÇø alumni and is privileged in his continued involvement in the college community as a faculty member and employed nurse practitioner on campus at Northern Light Primary Care at the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø. Sean and his family live on a small farm operation.

Current service/community outreach/other: Sean serves as the advisor to the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø Senior Skull Society, Sophomore Owl Society, and President of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Beta Upsilon Building Association housing the Alpha Tau Omega chapter.ÌýHe is also on the Board of Directors for the º£½ÇÉçÇø Nurse Practitioner Association.

Clinical specialty/research focus: focus: Sean is a family nursing educated FNP with special clinical interests and experience in student health, integrated mental health care, and LGBTQ+ sensitive care. His research experience and topics include healthy aging, prevention and early detection of cognitive decline, nurse practitioner workforce development, inclusive teaching design, and simulation-based education.
