The University of º£½ÇÉçÇø Center for Undergraduate Research (CUGR) has announced the 27 award winners from the 2025 Uº£½ÇÉçÇø Student Symposium for Research and Creative Activity.
Among the recipients were individuals and teams of undergraduate and graduate students who earned accolades in one of ten academic categories, as well as special award winners. A list of the recipients, all of whom received a medal and $500 cash prize, is on the symposium website.
More than 1,500 student researchers, co-authors, faculty, staff, event sponsors and community members attended the 2025 symposium in the New Balance Field House on Friday, April 11. The tenth annual symposium provided an opportunity for the public to interact with student researchers and scholars as they viewed their posters and exhibits.
Over 430 projects were submitted to the annual event, co-hosted by CUGR, Student Government and the Graduate Student Government as part of º£½ÇÉçÇø Impact Week. º£½ÇÉçÇø Impact Week showcases how º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s research university contributes to the social and economic advancement of º£½ÇÉçÇø and beyond. The campus-wide is led by the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Dean of the Graduate School.
