The National Science Foundation awarded a $7 million grant, which will put $4.5 million toward scholarly activities at Uº£½ÇÉçÇø and $2.5 million toward collaborative activities led by project partners across the state. The four year project named º£½ÇÉçÇø-FOREST, or Forest-based Opportunities for Resilient Economy, Sustainability and Technology, is aimed at expanding the state’s research and educational capacity to connect human and ecosystem focused innovations and services.
