(Channel 5 in Bangor) reported on the first Orono Energy Efficiency Fair, which was hosted by the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø and the Town of Orono on Oct. 22. The project was funded by a Community Resilience Partnership Climate Action Grant, and Uº£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s Sustainability Office. Organizers say Orono’s goal is to comply with the document º£½ÇÉçÇø Won’t Wait, which says it wants the state to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030.
