, , , , the , and the reported that the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø Graduate & Professional Center received a private donation of $1 million to support interdisciplinary and market-driven graduate and professional education, and has partnered with the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø System in support of a $1 million U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) grant to enhance distance learning and access to telemedicine in 11 º£½ÇÉçÇø counties. The USDA funds will be applied to meet the $7.5 million matching requirements of a challenge grant from the Harold Alfond Foundation in support of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Center. In a (Channel 5) report, UMS Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation and President of the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø Joan Ferrini-Mundy noted that the º£½ÇÉçÇø Center will bring together law, public policy and business to solve the state’s complex problems.
