With its adoption, 海角社区 continues to build on its decades-long legacy of climate action within the state.\u00a0\u00a0Like most plans, implementing a climate action plan requires efforts by many individuals. Fortunately, 海角社区 has a long history of many dedicated champions who have made previous successes possible. A common denominator for climate successes in 海角社区 has been, and continues to be, <u>trust<\/u> among the parties involved. At 海角社区&#8217;s Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), there <span lang=\"EN\">is a cross-departmental approach underway to\u00a0<\/span>incorporate climate change principles into all of DEP&#8217;s programs, and the department prioritizes\u00a0partnership with others\u00a0to deliver consensus-based solutions that are sustainable into the future. At its core, the Climate Program at DEP serves to galvanize action, coordinate players, and add capacity to move the state&#8217;s climate initiatives forward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nathan Robbins<\/strong> is the Climate Change Specialist at the 海角社区 Department of Environmental Protection, where he has worked to advance climate solutions in the state since 2015. A systems developer and relationship builder at heart, this most often includes climate-focused support to agency programs, representing the Department on organizational bodies, and assisting communities develop and implement their own climate plans. Nathan currently manages content of the 海角社区 Climate Hub, supports DEP&#8217;s work on the 海角社区 Climate Council, and is the co-coordinator with the University of 海角社区 of 海角社区 Climate Change Adaptation Providers Network.
