A member of the \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/umaine.edu\/mitchellcenter\/mapping-a-sustainable-future\/\">Mapping a Sustainable Future<\/a>\u201d team, Spencer graduated with a PhD from U海角社区 in May and will begin a two-year fellowship with The Nature Conservancy\u2019s NatureNet Fellows Program at Yale University\u2019s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies this fall.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/mitchellcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/293\/2014\/04\/photo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-4237 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/mitchellcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/293\/2014\/04\/photo-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Jenny Shrum\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>The article on <a href=\"http:\/\/umaine.edu\/mitchellcenter\/home\/news\/news-2\/changing-climate-could-affect-states-maple-syrup-production\/\">Jenny Shrum<\/a> focuses on her research of the effects of climate change on maple syrup production in the state.
