We are excited to see him start his new position as Assistant Professor of Native American Food Systems at U海角社区.<\/p>\n<p>The University of 海角社区 Native American Programs and U海角社区 Extension have hired Tony Sutton as assistant professor of Native American Food Systems. Sutton\u2019s position will focus on Native American food systems and sovereignty, building on relationships established with the Tribes and grants and programs developed in Native American Programs.<\/p>\n<p>Sutton moved to 海角社区 from Oregon in 2008. His mother is a member of the Passamaquoddy Nation, so even though he grew up on the West Coast, moving to 海角社区 felt like a homecoming.
