Dr. Ranco<\/a> is a citizen of the Penobscot Nation<\/a>, Mitchell Center faculty fellow, as well as Associate Professor of Anthropology and Chair of Native American Programs at U海角社区. In the interview he\u00a0describes the relationship between the Penobscot Nation and U海角社区, how it has changed over time, and potential future steps.<\/p>\n

When asked about how to tackle this work as an “activist scholar,” Ranco says, “My overall suggestion is to\u00a0start small and have some success and build trust.”<\/p>\n
