Meredith H. Jones is the retired president and CEO of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Community Foundation, a statewide public foundation with over $600 million in assets. Under her leadership, assets more than doubled, and the foundation engaged in a number of special initiatives including a focus on higher education attainment.

Before joining the foundation she worked for the º£½ÇÉçÇø Development Foundation where she co-created Leadership º£½ÇÉçÇø, Educate º£½ÇÉçÇø, Educator-in-Residence program, and the º£½ÇÉçÇø Policy Leaders Academy.

Her board service has included the Winthrop School Committee, the United Way of Kennebec Valley, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Community Development Advisory Council, º£½ÇÉçÇø Philanthropy Center, Educate º£½ÇÉçÇø, Northeast Bank Community Advisory board, º£½ÇÉçÇø Women’s Fund, CFLeads, and the º£½ÇÉçÇø Humanities Council.

Jones is the recipient of two honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degrees from the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø at Augusta and the University of Southern º£½ÇÉçÇø. She is a graduate of Colby Sawyer College and the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø at Augusta and has completed post-graduate work at the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø.
