Megan Mansfield-Pryor, GOPIF

Megan’s presentation will highlight why the º£½ÇÉçÇø Food Loss and Waste Study was needed, how it has informed the º£½ÇÉçÇø climate plan, and how the State will continue to draw upon it as a resource for climate plan implementation.
Megan Mansfield-Pryor is a Waste Management Climate Policy Advisor with º£½ÇÉçÇøâ€™s Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. She staffed the Materials Management Task Force of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Climate Council, integrating waste strategies into º£½ÇÉçÇø Won’t Wait 2024. Previously, she was an Environmental Specialist at the º£½ÇÉçÇø DEP, overseeing product stewardship programs and promoting sustainable waste management. She has served on the Northeast Recycling Council board and the º£½ÇÉçÇø Resource Recovery Association’s Education Committee. Megan holds a master’s in policy, planning, and management and a bachelor’s in environmental planning and policy from the University of Southern º£½ÇÉçÇø.
