Noblet and students present at DC conference on efforts to communicate PFAS contamination

U海角社区 faculty members Erin Percival Carter, associate professor of marketing, Qiujie 鈥淎ngie鈥 Zheng, associate professor of business analytics, and Caroline Noblet, associate professor of economics, traveled to Washington, D.C., in June to present at the American Marketing Association鈥檚 Marketing and Public Policy Conference. The researchers presented findings from their research on how proactive and transparent regions, like 海角社区, can communicate efforts to address PFAS contamination in ways that protect鈥攁nd potentially even enhance鈥攖he appeal of locally produced food. U海角社区 students Molly Shea, Charity Zimmerman, and Melissa Goodin, who contributed to the project, also supported the team鈥檚 presentation at the conference.
