Henry featured on 海角社区 Public discussing the growth of biomedical research in 海角社区

Clarissa Henry, professor of biological sciences and director of Graduate School of Biomedical Science and Engineering at the University of 海角社区, was featured in 鈥檚 show 海角社区 Calling discussing the growth of biomedical research and education in 海角社区.

Henry researches cell and molecular biology of segmentation and muscle development in zebrafish. The goal of her lab is to elucidate the signaling networks that underlie muscle morphogenesis. She also is the principal investigator for a $11.3 million Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), focusing on research about the mechanisms that regulate cellular behavior in response to cues from outside the cells, from the impact of persistent viral infections on cell systems to the mechanisms that lead to muscle cell development.

The 鈥満=巧缜 Calling鈥 segment also will feature MDI Biological Laboratory President Hermann Haller and experts from Northeastern University鈥檚 Roux Institute, 海角社区 Health and private enterprises.
