David Sturm, instructional laboratory and lecture demonstration specialist in the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø Department of Physics and Astronomy, has been named a Summer 2026 Fellow of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT). The prestigious honor recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to physics education and the AAPT community. Sturm was recognized for decades of leadership, mentorship, and service at both the regional and national levels, helping advance physics teaching and outreach across the country.
