Judaic Studies Mourns the loss of Howard Segal
Judaic Studies at the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø community mourns the loss of professor of history Howard Segal on November 9th.
In addition to his award-winning teaching and scholarship, Professor Segal was a valued and longtime advisor to the Judaic Studies program.
The hearts and minds of the entire Uº£½ÇÉçÇø community are with his wife, professor of English Deborah Rogers, his children Richard and Raechel, and other family members.
A celebration of Segal’s life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Congregation Beth El, 183 French St., Bangor, or to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation; crohnscolitisfoundation.org/site/donation.
