Testimonials

Ayane, 2022 program participant

鈥淔irstly I could talk a lot of English in our classes. It was not serious, most of them were exciting. We enjoyed talking and playing games. Furthermore, we could experience the communication with host family and student in University of 海角社区. All programs were of great benefits. If we will do this program face to face next time, I want to join. Thank you for 2 weeks.鈥

Tokuji Noro, Professor of English, Hirosaki University

“The goal of the program it two-folded, that is, improving English skills and cross-cultural understanding. For the last two years with the COVID-19 pandemic, we were left with no choice but to conduct the program by remote learning. We thought we would have to disregard the cultural learning part, but thanks to the enthusiasm and sincere dedication of those involved, especially host families, we were able to enjoy as much success as we did in the regular on-site programs.鈥
