Defense Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DEPSCoR) recently announced that two FY21 DEPSCoR聽funding opportunity announcements are now available on聽
- DEPSCoR聽鈥 Research Collaboration FOA-AFRL-AFOSR-2021-0007,聽
- DEPSCoR聽鈥 Capacity Building FOA-AFRL-AFOSR-2021-0008,聽
The Research Collaboration opportunity is quite similar to last year鈥檚 solicitation (two-person team, award amount, evaluation process), however, there are differences (specific topic areas, increased total number of awards). The Capacity Building opportunity is a new component of聽DEPSCoR聽and aims to support the strategic objectives of Institutes of Higher Education in聽DEPSCoR聽States/Territories to achieve basic research excellence in areas of high relevance to the DoD. DEPSCoR officials encourage applicants to thoroughly read both announcements which are attached.聽

DEPSCoR also announced a聽痴颈谤迟耻补濒听DEPSCoR听顿补测, which will take place on聽June 23rd from 10:00AM until ~5:00PM EDT.聽 The 痴颈谤迟耻补濒听DEPSCoR听顿补测 will include overviews of the FOAs, various panel sessions and breakout sessions with Program Officers representing the topics in the Research Collaboration FOA. The tentative agenda is linked below. To participate in the 痴颈谤迟耻补濒听DEPSCoR听顿补测, you must register in advance no later than聽JUNE 16 2021听补迟:
