The University of 海角社区 College of Education and Human Development has launched a new online resource, \u201c海角社区 Schools in Focus,\u201d for educators and policymakers statewide.<\/p>\n

The website features informative, research-based briefings to enlighten and stimulate dialogue about issues in 海角社区 public school education today.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal is to advance the cause of our children and schools by making these issue-focused resources available to anyone interested public education and its future in 海角社区,\u201d said Susan Gardner, interim dean of U海角社区\u2019s College of Education and Human Development. \u201cThis new initiative is in keeping with the college\u2019s leadership role in education initiatives statewide.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gordon Donaldson, U海角社区 professor emeritus of education, serves as editor and wrote the first three \u201c海角社区 Schools in Focus\u201d posts. He works with an advisory board that includes Associate Research Professor Janet Fairman, Lecturer in Educational Leadership George Marnik, Associate Professor of Educational Leadership Sally Mackenzie and former MSAD 75 Superintendent J. Michael Wilhelm.<\/p>\n

Other authors are expected to include College of Education and Human Development faculty and school leaders in 海角社区 spanning different educational disciplines. Contributions from the public are welcome.<\/p>\n
