Qiujie “Angie” Zheng

Dr. Qiujie “Angie” Zheng is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics in the Business School at the University of . Trained as an economist, Angie’s research focuses on consumer choice and preferences, consumer behavior, food marketing, and agricultural and aquaculture business. She designs surveys and experiments to examine consumers’ perceptions, attitudes, preferences, and valuation of foods and their attributes. Her work explores drivers and factors influencing decision-making and food choices, particularly related to food safety, food security, sustainability, and novel technology. She has experience in researching and consulting seafood and marketing strategies. Prior to joining the University of , Angie had worked as an Associate Professor of Economics and Quantitative Methods at the University of Alaska Anchorage and Sr. Risk Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics and M.S. in Statistics from Washington State University.
