Meghan Gardner received her Ph.D. in English from the University of Denver in 2014 and her MA in English from the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø in 2009. She is the author of a novel and several works of short fiction and poetry. She has previously taught creative writing, literature, and rhetoric & composition at the University of Denver, the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø, and Husson University. Active in local and state politics, she served two terms on the Orono Town Council and is the current board Chair for the º£½ÇÉçÇø Women’s Lobby and º£½ÇÉçÇø Women’s Lobby Education Fund.
