Daily dog hikes, practice, and home maintenance occupy most of David’s days. Since moving to º£½ÇÉçÇø, he has enjoyed the privilege of performing with the Portland Jazz Orchestra, Seacoast Big Band, Colby College Orchestra, Symphonic, and Jazz Bands, Southern º£½ÇÉçÇø New Horizons Band, and Innovation Brass Quintet. His primary teachers are Bill Stanley, Don Lucas, and Tom Stein; additional study with Rich Matteson, Joe Alessi, Carsten Svanberg, and Steven Mead. David has the privilege of teaching applied brass courses at the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø. He is an artist/clinician for the Edwards Instrument Company and serves as co-editor of the literature review column for the International Trombone Association Journal.
