Charles Day is a professional accountant turned educator. He seeks to utilize international experience (South Africa, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, United States) in accounting policy and internal controls, finance processes and systems, and auditing to contribute to the development of the accounting profession through the education of future accountants and impactful research on issues concerning financial reporting.

He is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the United Kingdom and has worked as a lecturer in accounting and finance at Oxford Brookes University and the University of Exeter.
