We’re so glad that you are choosing to continue your education at the University of º£½ÇÉçÇø. No matter whether you’re transferring in the fall, the spring or the summer, one thing is for certain – it’s a great decision and one that we’re thrilled that you’re making!

Please note: Unlike new first-semester, first-year students, newly admitted transfer students can register on their own through º£½ÇÉçÇøStreet. After you pay your deposit with the Office of Admissions, you will receive an email from regarding registration instructions. These instructions will include a registration PIN, your registration date, and contact information of your faculty and/or academic advisor.

Your registration date will be based on the amount of earned credits that have been posted on your º£½ÇÉçÇøStreet account. These dates of registration can be found on the Office of Student Records website. Look for the Enrollment Appointment Schedule on the page . Other admission deadlines can be found on the University’s Admissions website .

Here’s some more information that might help you as you make your way to Orono.

  • You may want to live on campus. Contact Student Housing to find out more. You can apply for housing here; make note of the Transfer Living and Learning Community.
  • Once you’re ready for details about your advisor, you can reach out . Of course, you’ll hearing from us along the way as well!
  • You can find details regarding transfer credit , including an  and a list of .  Transfer credit appeals can be initiated by contacting one of the staff members listed under the Transfer Credit section of the Office of Student Records page.
  • Be sure your FAFSA is appropriately completed; contact the Student Financial Aid Office with any questions. Information on transfer-specific aid can be found . You can also find out about many available scholarships here.
  • If you have credits for AP or IB that you’d like included in your transfer, request for scores to be sent to Uº£½ÇÉçÇø. Credit equivalencies can be found for AP and here for IB.
  • Native American Waiver – Contact the Wabanaki Center for more information.
  • VA Benefits – Contact the VETS Office for more information.
