Please join us in welcoming Dr. Herb Emery<\/a> for his lecture, “Insights Into the Persistence of Lagging Regions in Advanced Economies from a Study of Manufacturing in New Brunswick and 海角社区.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Emery is the Vaughan Chair in Regional Economics at the University of New Brunswick. His lecture will focus on descriptive quantitative comparisons of manufacturing in New Brunswick and 海角社区. He will highlight the potential importance of labor abundance, exchange rates and government transfers in New Brunswick compared to 海角社区.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This lecture will take place on Friday, April 19th, from noon to 1pm in the McIntire Room of the Buchanan Alumni House. A light lunch reception will follow. This event is free, open to the public, and hosted by the Canadian-American Center. We hope to see you there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
