Speaker: Carla Guenther, Chief Scientist, 海角社区 Center for Coastal Fisheries
Dr Carla Guenther is the Chief Scientist at 海角社区 Center for Coastal Fisheries in Stonington 海角社区. Formally educated in engineering, marine science and human geography from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the University of California, Santa Barbara, Carla has worked in fisheries in Mexico, California, and 海角社区. Alongside fishermen, scientists, and managers she has been navigating resource, management, and social change in 海角社区’s coastal fishing dependent communities for 15 years.
