PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Join clinical psychologist Wendy Rapaport in learning or getting a refresher on the specifics of integrating self-care into your life. In this interactive, online professional development training, you鈥檒l develop strategies around resilience and hardiness as well as processing your own emotions.

Self-care is made up of many demanding but rewarding parts: self-awareness, growth mindset, resiliency practice, empathy, purpose, kindness, gratitude, friendship and community, goals, perspective, seeking help, optimism, mindfulness, inspiration, and altruism. To effectively embody self-care, we have to practice. This program will allow you to do so in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

A lot is happening around us and within us. Your profession or your community may require you to interface or engage with others who are also affected by these extraordinary times. But have you been able to take time to slow down and think through your own responses?

This self-care program will give you some of the space you need to process and reflect as well as the skills to help you manage and prevent burnout and thrive 鈥渋ntentionally鈥 with healthy boundaries, emotional literacy, work/life balance, community, and adding creative outlets. Facilitator Wendy Rapaport will help you increase your awareness of your own emotions, beliefs and responses to help you be better able to hear and acknowledge the emotions, beliefs and responses of others.

Together, we鈥檒l develop strategies and share skills of resilience and hardiness. You can then put these strategies and skills into use while working with your clients, supervisors and teams (not to mention with your friends and family!).
