New for 2025!
Many of us have experienced the world of feedback as uncomfortable terrain that we are navigating without a map. So let鈥檚 demystify it! In this training we will share a 鈥渕ap鈥 along with skills that can help feedback be useful and supportive whether we are on the giving or the receiving end of the equation.
Rooted in the basics of听Nonviolent Communication, this training will also include concepts introduced in the book听, by Sheila Heen & Douglas Stone interpreted through the lens of听Nonviolent Communication. And we will touch upon concepts shared by neuroscience educator听that help us understand some of the neurobiology present in feedback conversations.
Constructive Conversations can increase trust, collaboration and effectiveness in any workplace or organization.

- Unpacking what makes feedback challenging, especially in professional settings
- Learning and practicing 3 types of feedback
- Learning the components of skillful feedback
- Becoming aware of and asking for the type of feedback we would like
- Distinguishing sharing feedback from expressing our upset emotions
- Opportunities to practice the skills being taught

Leah Boyd听is a certified trainer with the, holds a BS in Education and is a co-founder of听.听 She is a professional mediator, group facilitator, communication skills trainer & musician. With a diverse background including special education, human resources and professional music, Leah brings wide personal experience to her work. Leah trusts the creative potential that is unleashed when all voices are heard and all needs are considered within a supportive structure, allowing creative tension to become a source of creativity.
